
Gavin Landry is an accomplished, results-minded hospitality executive with more than 25 years of successful performance in driving revenue and building partnerships in highly competitive consumer markets. Gavin graduated from Cornell University’s School of Hotel and Restaurant Administration in 1986. Upon graduating from college, he joined a professional hotel management company named Winegardner & Hammons, Inc. and for six years managed hotels in Ohio, West Virginia, Michigan, New Jersey, and North Carolina.
Gavin became President of the Saratoga Convention and Tourism Bureau in July 1995; a post he held for 12 years. In 2007, he was recruited to the executive team of the New York Racing Association as Senior Vice-President of Sales and Market Development. During his tenure with NYRA, Gavin is credited with forging multi-million dollar strategic partnerships with companies such as NetJets, Prudential, UPS and others. Gavin is the principal partner of Landry Hospitality Consulting Services and is an acknowledged expert in the travel industry.
In 2011, Gavin was asked to become an adjunct professor at NYU’s Preston Robert Tisch Center for Hospitality, Tourism and Sports Management. He is instructing a graduate level course on Tourism Policy Analysis.
